The Taylor County Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire on Monday afternoon at 1:33pmET involving multiple campers on fire at a private campground located at 9710 New Columbia Road in Taylor County near the Coburg community. Big Dawg News has learned that upon arrival, firemen found a large metal storage building fully involved. The building contained a travel trailer, two large pleasure boats, two tractors and other miscellaneous equipment.
The cause of the fire has not been determined. One firefighter was treated on scene for heat related issues; no other injuries were reported.
The Taylor County Fire Department responded with four trucks and 21 firefighters.
