A police chase in LaRue County ended with shots fired and a man hospitalized late Friday night.
Hodgenville Police reported that officers attempted to stop a car on Lincoln Farm Road traveling 40 miles over the speed limit.
Police say the driver failed to pull over and sped off, crashing a short time later on N. Lincoln Boulevard,
the driver then fled on foot, firing shots at police.
The man was later found in a creek behind Creekfront Park where he suffered a self inflicted gunshot and was transported to Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown.
