Taylor County Fire Department was dispatched to a garage fire Thursday evening at 6:50pm at 365 Spurlington Church Rd.

Upon arrival firefighters found a detached garage heavily involved, one nearby structure sustained minor damage from radiant heat. The cause of the fire appears to be accidental. No injuries were reported. Twenty Four Firefighters and three apparatus responded. Units were on scene for approximately 90 minutes.
