The man shot Friday on old Lebanon Road in Campbellsville has died, Taylor County Sheriff Dickie Benningfield told 99.9 The Big Dawg News that Patrick Russell age 61 of Campbellsville was prounced deceased Sunday afternoon at 5:30pm at UK Hospital in Lexington.

Russell was shot in the head by Nathaniel Tristan Richerson age 41 of Lexington, his charge will be upgraded to murder.

Richerson is lodged in the Taylor County Detention Center.

Sgt. Mark Dicken with the Taylor County Sheriffs Dept is investigating.
