The Taylor County Fire Department was dispatched to a reported garage fire on Friday afternoon at 1612 Elkhorn Rd, just before 3 am. Upon arrival, firefighters found a detached garage fully involved. Firefighters were on the scene for 1½ hours. The fire was contained to the garage and the cause is unknown at this time. No firefighter or civilian injuries were reported. The alarm sounded at 2:48pmET.
