An elderly Taylor County woman was killed in a two vehicle head on collision on Lebanon Ave at  Lakeview Drive in Campbellsville on Thursday accident caused by a drunk driver. 99.9 The Big Dawg news has learned that Juliet Kirtley 87 of Campbellsville was riding passenger in a vehicle operated by Michael Smith age 62 of Campbellsville. The Smith was struck head on by auto driven by Billie Jo Roberts age 46 of Michigan, Kirtley died as a result of the collision, Smith was airlifted to University of Louisville in critical condition.

A third auto was involved in the mishap, Shelby Druin age 68 of Campbellsville collided with auto wreckage but was not injured.

Roberts was arrested by KSP and charged with vehicular homicide while under the influence, DUI, assault 2nd, reckless driving and other offenses. There were other injuries reported in the accident that was investigated by Kentucky State Police.
