Taylor County lost a long time leader and great public servant, it was learned that retired Taylor County Fire Chief and EM Director George R. Wilson passed away at Springview Hospital late last night from complications of COVID pneumonia. Wilson was former Fire Chief of the Taylor County Volunteer Fire Department for over forty years and EM Director for over thirty years.
