A Taylor County man was air lifted to Vanderbilt Hospital after Monday morning after a dump truck accident on Highway 80 west in Adair County, sheriff Josh Brockman told 99.9 The Big Dawg that his department

received a call Monday morning of a overturned dump truck 9 miles east of Columbia, deputy Gary Roy with the Adair County Sheriffs Office was dispatched to the scene along with Adair EMS and Columbia Adair Fire Department. 

Preliminary investigation shows that Christopher Anderson age 50 of Campbellsville was traveling west on KY 80 In a 1992 international dump truck, the truck dropped off the right shoulder of the roadway, in an attempt to recover the truck Anderson over corrected and traveled back onto highway and left highway in the eastbound lane overturning. Anderson was treated on scene  by Adair EMS and took to TJ Health of Columbia where he was later airlifted to Vanderbilt Hospital in Tennessee.
