Adair County Sheriff’s Office along with Columbia Police Department received multiple complaints of a male living under the Campbellsville street bridge, sheriff Josh Brockman told 99.9 The Big Dawg that complaints ranged from erratic behavior to yelling at people on kayaks . 

Upon searching the area sheriff Brockman located Jessi Cross age 45 of Columbia under the bridge, Cross was ordered out from under the bridge in which he complied and was arrested on felony charges of not being in compliance with KY Sex Offender Registration 2nd offense and violation of offender registry by living within a 1,000 ft of a school.

He was lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail, the Adair County sheriffs office is continuing investigation .

Sheriff Brockman was assisted on scene by Chief JR Murphy of CPD along with additional Deputies  and CPD officers
