A Green County man was arrested after a case of road rage on highway 210 Friday evening in Taylor County, sheriff Allen Newton said that Gregory Thompson age 41 of Greensburg rear ended a Cadillac operated by Don Auberry age 48 of Campbellsville causing the vehicle to leave the roadway and overturn, Newton said the Thompson vehicle fled the scene. Meanwhile, Auberry was transported to Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville and Thompson was later found at Lucky Vista Motel and arrested by SGT. Mark Dickens and charged with wanton endangerment, leaving the scene of an accident, tampering with evidence, no insurance, no license, possession of a controlled substance, public intoxication. Sheriff Newton said that Thompson was under the influence when the road rage incident occurred, Thompson was lodged in the Taylor County Detention Center, the grand jury is expected to hear the case.
