Fourth of July Celebration Theme and Dates Have Been Announced

The Campbellsville/Taylor County Chamber of Commerce announces the theme for 46th annual Campbellsville-Taylor County Fourth of July Celebration will be “Hometown Strong.” The theme was chosen as an effort to highlight the hometown heroes who have sacrificed to keep our community strong through the covid pandemic and recent tornadoes. Plans for the Fourth of July Celebration are well underway. The Chamber and the Fourth of July Committee are working to keep the same celebration favorites as well as adding new events and features. The Fourth of July Celebration will be held Thursday June 30th through Sunday July 3rd. A Kick-off concert is planned for Thursday June 30th. Vendor Booths, Main Stage entertainment, Kids Zone, new Hospitality Tent and hot air balloon events all begin July 1st. July 2nd will be the biggest day of activities with the hot air balloon lift-off, 5K run and walk, parade, vendor areas, entertainment, Miller Park events and Fireworks. The annual Gospel Sing will be held Sunday July 3rd. A complete schedule of events will be announced soon. The Chamber Board and Fourth of July Committee chose to have the majority events Friday and Saturday July 1st and 2nd to better accommodate vendors and the three hot-air balloon events, which require two consecutive days. This is only an issue when the Fourth of July falls on Sunday or Monday. Traditionally, the only Fourth of July event held on Sunday has been the Gospel Sing. Vendor applications are now being accepted. Vendors will be placed in designated areas for Arts & Crafts, Marketplace, Church/Non-Profit, Political and Food Court. Applications are available online at CampbellsvilleFourthofJuly.com. There are Fourth of July sponsorship opportunities available. There are several levels of sponsorship to fit any budget. Contact the Chamber Office for complete information at 270.465.8601 or email info@campbellsvillechamber.com.
