On Thursday, October 28, 2021 at approximately 9:14 P.M., Officer Adam Black witnessed a vehicle driving reckless in the area of Carnation Street and South Columbia Avenue. As Officer Black activated his emergency equipment to stop the vehicle, the vehicle fled. After a short pursuit, the vehicle ran off the roadway on West Main Street striking several headstones in the Brookside Cemetery.
24-year old Drake A. Willen of Cave City, KY. was arrested and charged with the following;
DUI 1st
Fleeing or Evading Police 1st degree (Motor Vehicle)
Reckless Driving
No Insurance
Violating Graves
