A 23 year old Campbellsville man escaped serious injuries after leading police on a high speed chase Saturday night with no headlights on, crashing the vehicle just up the road from Creekside Restaurant on New Lebanon Road.

Antonio Smith is charged with DUI, improper passing, possession of cocaine & marijuana, driving on a suspended license, fleeing/evading police, wanton endangerment, and tampering with evidence.

Witnesses told 99.9 the Big Dawg that Smith was driving recklessly at a high rate of speed when the chase started on Watertower Bypass. Smith was not injured in the crash and was arrested by Campbellsville Police.
