Residential Fire in Campbellsville Due to Possible Unattended Candle

 

At approx. 7:00pmET on Sunday, October 24, 2021 Campbellsville Fire-Rescue was dispatched to a report of a possible house fire at 408 Taylor Blvd, with a subject still inside trying to extinguish the fire. Upon arrival, firefighters found light smoke coming from the front door with flames in the living room area and occupants evacuated. Firefighters extinguished the fire with a class A extinguisher, searched for occupants, provided overhaul and evacuated smoke from the residence. No firefighters or civilian injuries were reported. The cause of the fire was related to an unattended candle. 

 

12 Firefighters responded to the call.
