Campbellsville Fire-Rescue was dispatched to a report of a working apartment fire with people still inside. Upon arrival, firefighters found smoke and flames in a downstairs apartment. Firefighters made an interior fire attack and conducted a primary search for occupants. Firefighters also checked for fire extension into the other units and provided overhaul. No firefighters or civilian injuries were reported. The cause of the fire was related to a cooking fire that extended into the rest of the kitchen area. Only one apartment of the quadraplex was effected with moderate damage displacing 3 occupants.
