Campbellsville Fire & Rescue was dispatched to Wholsale Hardwood Interiors Friday morning where a dust collector machine caught fire. The equipment was part of the original building equipment and was being removed from the site, according to Campbellsville Fire Chief Chris Taylor.

Upon arrival, firefighters found heavy smoke coming from the machine and conducted an exterior fire attack. Taylor said there was some exposures in proximity to the fire and the cause of the fire was related to sparks from the removal of the equipment and sawdust inside the collector ignited.

No civilian or firefighter injuries reported.
