Marion County Sheriff Jimmy Clements said that John Tyler Bryant, 19, of Raywick, KY was killed during a single-vehicle accident on Tuesday evening.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a one-vehicle accident at 11:15 p.m. on Highway 84 (Raywick Road) near the intersection with Sallie Ray Pike. Marion County deputies discovered that Bryant was driving a 2003 Mitsubishi westbound when he lost control of the vehicle, traveled off the roadway, and struck a tree. Bryant was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Marion County Coroner.
Bryant was a 2019 graduate of Marion County High School.
Deputy Sheriff Ben Lancaster and Chris Jewell investigated. Marion County Rescue Squad, Marion County EMS and the Raywick Fire Department assisted at the scene.
