The Fire Alarmed Sounded Last Night in Campbellsville

Taylor County Fire Department was dispatched to a report of smoke at Gaddco company in Campbellsville's industial park, upon arrival firefighters found heavy fire and smoke coming from the structure.

 

A second alarm was initiated due to commercial building with heavy fire conditions. Firefighters battled heavy fire and smoke conditions to extinguish the fire. Firefighters also searched the building for occupants, and provided overhaul.

 

Several minutes into the fire the roof integrity was compromised and firefighters evacuated the building and provided a defensive operation. Once the roof integrity was evaluated crews made a second interior attack completely extinguishing the fire. 

 

There was heavy smoke, fire and water damage to the business. The cause of the fire undetermined at this time. No civilian or firefighters was injured.
