Trooper Weston Sullivan is investigating a single vehicle collision that occurred January 11, 2019 at approximately 7:20PM EST. Shelby Estes, age 19 of Greensburg, was operating an eastbound 2018 Mazda on Smith Ridge RD 1.5 miles east of Campbellsville on when she entered a curve, swerved to miss a deer that was in her path, ran off the roadway and struck a tree.  Estes was transported to Taylor County Regional Hospital by EMS with non-life threatening injuries. A passenger in the vehicle, Denver Olbers, age 21 of Greensburg, was uninjured. Both occupants were wearing a seat belt. Trooper Sullivan was assisted at the scene by Campbellsville/Taylor County EMS, Taylor County and Campbellsville Fire Departments.
