Billy Joe Walker, 87, of London, KY, formerly of Greensburg, KY, son of the late Marion Walker and Annie Stansberry Walker, was born on October 12, 1936 in Laurel County, KY and departed this life on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at Baptist Health Corbin.
Mr. Walker had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended Greenburg United Methodist Church. He worked on the railroad as a brakeman and switchman.
Mr. Walker was also preceded in death by three brothers: Don Walker, Sam Walker, and John Walker and by four sisters: Ella Coliron, Imogene King, Bobbie Cox and Marion Faye Lemons.

5 children: Marion Jerry Walker and Billy Joe Walker of London, Sam Walker of Bloomfield, Constance Maggard of Corbin, and Mary Perkins of Lilly
13 grandchildren & 23 great-grandchildren

Visitation: After 11:00amCT on Friday at the funeral home
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Green County Food Pantry, which can be made at the funeral home.
